In the platform, open Domains in the sidebar and click the domain. The detail view shows, for each expected record, the DNS type, the host, the target value the platform expects, and the value currently stored in DNS. Keep the table open so you can copy the values.
1. Open DNS management at your provider
Sign in to the provider that manages your domain’s DNS zone, usually the registrar. Open the domain’s DNS zone or DNS management there, meaning the view where you can create records of type A and CNAME.
2. Create or edit the record
For each record in the Expected column, create a new DNS record or edit the existing record for the same host. Choose the type A or CNAME as shown in the detail view, enter the host from the detail view, and enter the expected target as the value, meaning the IP address for an A record or the hostname for a CNAME record. Save the change.
Some providers expect only the part before the domain as the host, for example www instead of www.example.com, or an @ for the domain itself.
3. Wait and check the status
It takes a few minutes or longer until a DNS change is visible everywhere. Then reload the domain detail. Once the record is correct, the Status column shows a check mark; there is nothing to confirm or trigger.
If the check mark does not appear
Check that you edited the DNS zone of the right domain and that the record type exactly matches what the platform shows; an A record cannot be replaced by a CNAME record or vice versa. Next to a CNAME record, the same hostname usually must not have an A record; in that case, delete the old A record. Also compare the actual value in the domain detail with your record to catch typos.
