# Cursor, VS Code and Antigravity

The Application Platform extension and the configuration from local-configuration work the same way in VS Code, Cursor and Antigravity, and Cursor adds the agent plugin.

VS Code, Cursor and Antigravity share the same base, so the platform integration works the same everywhere; Cursor and Antigravity bring the AI agent along, in VS Code you work with Claude Code or Codex in the terminal.

## Opening a project

From the [setup app]({{< relref "local-app" >}}) you open a project with one click in the default tool set there, or by hand via `~/Documents/application-platform/<organization-slug>/<project-slug>`; open the project folder, not a single repository, so all repositories are visible and the shared configuration applies.

## The Application Platform extension

The setup app installs the extension `doppelt-digital.application-platform` in VS Code, Cursor and Antigravity; the workspace configuration recommends it if missing. Its welcome page shows all repositories with description, tech stack, recommended files and links to GitLab, Sentry and this documentation; a button per repository starts `ap run-local`, plus quick links to the web interface and AI tools and a decrypted view of deployment configuration.

## Configuration from local-configuration

The files from `local-configuration` are symlinked into the project folder; if you change them there and push, they apply to the whole team.

The agent in Cursor and Antigravity thus follows the platform conventions from `AGENTS.md`; you add your own rules under [Your own rules for AI agents]({{< relref "ai-instructions" >}}).

## Agent plugin in Cursor

For the agent to create or import projects, install the agent plugin via **Customize → Plugins** or with `npx plugins add doppelt-digital/application-platform-plugin -s user -y` and reload the window (**Developer: Reload Window**); installation routes, tools and failure cases are in [CLI and agent plugin]({{< relref "cli-and-agent-plugin" >}}).
